Thank you for a great week!

Last week’s event was huge success! Parent participation was at an all time high. Thank you parents for the gifts and cards that came for the teachers. Week of the Young Child is a week where we celebrate the world of child care…both children and teachers! The kids’ dress-up days were so much fun.  Again, thank you for making it a super week for everyone!

Sunscreen please

If you want your child to have sunscreen for outside play, please bring in a new bottle SPF 30 or higher.  Stop by the front desk and sign a new authorization form too. These must be renewed each year. Thanks!

Spare Matchbox cars anyone?

We are in need of replenishing our little car bins. If your house could easily part with a few Matchbox or Hot Wheel cars, we could sure use them!

Summer vacations

When you make your summer plans please make sure you let us know as soon as possible. This helps us with our staffing and coordinating employee vacations as well. Also, if your child care needs are coming to an end with St. Thomas, please let us know your last day. We only require 2 weeks notice, but if you know sooner that would be helpful too.

Congratulations to Logan’s mom in the Blue Room. Larami won the quilt! A total of $169 was raised for new outside playground toys. Thank you for your support!

Some gentle reminders for children’s safety

We need parents to walk children into their classrooms each day. When you pick your child up at the end of the day, please make sure a teacher knows your child is leaving. Also, we need parents to remind their children that they cannot leave the building without you. We have had several instances of children running out the front doors without parents. Your cooperation is really appreciated.!

Mother's Day events

Each classroom will be hosting a Mother’s Day Celebration on May 9. Mark your calendars and watch for details!

Preschool graduation

Green room children and MWF Preschool classes will hold graduation at 10 a.m. Friday, May 30 in the St. Thomas gym. All are welcome!

Email addresses

In the weeks to come, Lacey and Susie will be asking for your email addresses. Once the addresses have been gathered, we will start emailing as many newsletters and classroom reminders as we can.  We are doing this in an effort to save paper. Plus, I have had numerous requests from families to start this sort of project. If you are leaving St. Thomas, please don’t worry about giving us your email. Also, if you choose not to receive emails, that’s fine too. Thanks!
