Orange Room – Toddlers

July in the Orange room

It is going to be a hot month, so remember if you want us to put a hat on your child, just bring it in! Also, please remember to write your child’s name on their belongings as we have a few similar items among the children.

Last month, we said farewell to our little friends: Haley, Elly and Griffin, but this month, we get to welcome Dagney and Briggs from the Yellow room. We are very excited to have you!

July 5-9, At the Beach

Who doesn’t love to be at the Beach!? This week, we will be playing in the sand, looking for seashells, and even enjoying a nice beach feeling in our dramatic play area! We will be doing lots of fun art projects that have to do with our time on the "beach" and we will be doing water play as if we really were there!

July 12-16, Sports Week

Basketball, baseball, football, soccer, just to name a few is what we will be learning about this week! We will be spending each day playing a different sport (as best we can), and learning basic motions for each sport, such as: kicking, throwing, hitting and shooting. On Friday, we will take all the things we have learned and go to the park with our balls and bats and even our lunch and have a sports picnic!

July 19-30, Who and What lives in the Ocean?

These two weeks are going to be so full of things to do that we had to combine them into two weeks of ocean! We will be doing so many different art projects to show how diverse and how many different things are in the ocean too. We will be living in an underwater adventure for these two weeks so it should be fun!
