Welcome to February!
We are very excited about having our new little friends who joined us a few weeks ago, Jaden, Sadie, Norah and Leah, from the Yellow Room!
This month, we will be saying goodbye to Lily and McKenna who are moving up to the Red Room!
Hopefully winter is finally upon us so this newsletter is accurate, but with all the snow we ask that parents bring hats, mittens, snowsuits/snow pants, and boots as we try to go outside every day!
Feb. 6-10, Fairy tales
Who doesn't love a good fairy tale!? This week we will be exploring the many different stories with which you and I have grown up. We will be making fun art projects, singing songs and reading lots of books too!
Feb. 13-17, Love is in the air
During this week, we will be celebrating Valentine's Day! We will be turning our room into walls full of red and pink hearts, fun valentines crafts, and learning all about Valentine's Day! We also will be having a party Tuesday, Feb. 14 at 10 a.m. Parents are definitely welcome, but please do not feel as if you have to miss work for this! We will be exchanging valentines and having a few snacks!
Feb. 20-24, In the bakery
This week, we are going to the bakery! We are going to explore all the different types of foods we find in the bakery. We will be doing a cooking project where we are going to make muffins. We will also be exploring textures and tastes of many different things.
Feb. 27-29, Kings and queens
This week should be lots of fun! We are going to be dressing up as the kings and queens that we are! We are going to make crowns, do cooking projects, and have fun living the dream!
