July 1 & 2, Fourth of July: Happy Fourth of July! This week, we will be celebrating the Fourth of July by making Stars 'n' Stripes hats, American flags, and singing a fireworks song.

July 6-9, Down by the seashore: We will explore the ocean with sand and salt paintings as well as octopus and jellyfish activities. We will also learn to crab walk and look at seashells!

July 12-16, Wheels and wings: This week, we will look at transportation and traveling. We will look at car, bus, and boat travel, play Red Light, Green Light, and pack a suitcase.

July 19-23, From forest sounds to forest fires: What sounds are made in the forest? We will find out! Not only will we make forest fire art, create trees, and go on a nature walk, but we will also explore the sounds nature items can make!

July 26-30, Camping: It’s time for camping! This week, we will sing camping songs, look at camping equipment, and tell camping stories. We will also do forest puzzles and look at the food we take camping.

Dramatic Play

Parent note/Dates to remember

• We will be closed on Monday, July 5 for Independence Day.
• We will have water play every Friday during the summer, so remember to bring swimming suits and towels.
• Every Friday will also be picnic day!
